The 2025 Nautique WWA National Championships presented by GM Marine was the largest towed watersports event of the year, showcasing six disciplines for both amateurs and professionals: Wakeboard, Wakeskate, Surf, Skim, Foil, and Foil-Strapped. This event marked the third stop in both the 2025 Nautique Wake Series, which has four stops, and the 2025 Nautique Wakesurf Series, consisting of five stops, intensifying the competition as participants vied for vital series ranking points.

Held against the picturesque Highline Lake State Park in Grand Junction, Colorado, the celebrated Super Air Nautique G23 and G23 Paragon towed 303 athletes, aged 7 to 63, towards their pursuit of National Titles.

Benefiting from the deep water and optimal conditions, the Super Air Nautique G23 generated flawless wakes in the wakeboard divisions, resulting in groundbreaking performances. Team Nautique’s Zahra Kell and Cory Teunissen delivered outstanding routines to secure second and third places in the Pro Women and Pro Men Wakeboard categories, respectively. Zahra now leads the women’s standings in the 2025 Nautique Wake Series with 170 points, with Cory following closely in the men’s rankings with 170 points, trailing series leader Nic Rapa, who has 190 points.

In the Pro Women Surf and Skim categories, the unending waves of the Super Air Nautique G23 Paragon facilitated impressive finishes by Team Nautique’s Jodi Grassman and Bailey Dunn. Jodi secured the Nationals title in Pro Women Surf while Bailey claimed third, and Jodi earned third in the Pro Women Skim division. Consequently, Bailey now leads the 2025 Nautique Surf Series in both Pro Women Skim and Surf with 300 and 335 points, respectively, with Jodi close behind with 260 points in both rankings.

Team Nautique members Noah Flegel and Joey Harris also emerged as National champions, with Noah triumphing in both Pro Men Foil divisions and Joey achieving first place in Pro Men Surf. Noah also earned a podium finish in Pro Men Surf with second place. These accomplishments position Noah as the series leader in all four surf style categories, holding 200 points in Pro Men Surf, 190 in Pro Men Skim, and 100 in both Pro Men Foil and Foil-Strapped. Joey Harris ranks third overall in Pro Men Surf with 90 points, and fellow Team Nautique competitors John Akerman and Drew Drennan are among the top contenders, with John ranking third in Pro Men Skim and Drew third in Pro Men Foil.

“The level of talent at this year’s Nautique Nationals was truly inspiring,” stated Nautique President, Greg Meloon. “With series titles at stake and athletes giving it their all, this stop exemplified why the Nautique Wake and Wakesurf Series are the zenith of our sport. We are privileged to support events that advance progression and unite the global towed watersports community.”
